Golden Glove Academy has grown from its roots in California into an international goalkeeper academy connecting the United States and the Philippines through one training philosophy, one network and one standard of goalkeeper development.

GGA Manila was created to be more than a training location. It is part of a two-way international pathway for goalkeepers and coaches, creating opportunities to train, compete, coach and experience the game in different football environments.

For goalkeepers in the Philippines, the GGA network provides a connection to our programs in the United States, including opportunities to train with GGA, attend camps and clinics, experience the U.S. training environment and build relationships within our American football network. Goalkeepers from the Philippines have already trained within GGA programs in California.

The pathway works in the other direction as well. GGA has helped athletes from our U.S. network pursue opportunities in Asia, including a longtime GGA goalkeeper who made the move from the United States to the Philippines and progressed into professional football. His career has since continued internationally with Kasuka FC in Brunei, competing in regional and AFC club competition.

Our coaches are part of that pathway too. GGA creates opportunities for coaches within our network to gain international experience, work within different football environments and, where opportunities exist, pursue coaching and playing opportunities abroad.

As Golden Glove Academy continues to grow, our goal is to build a truly international goalkeeper network — one that gives players and coaches on both sides of the world access to new environments, experiences and opportunities while remaining connected through the same academy.
